Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can it run two separate screens on a Windows laptop?
The original table supports HDMI plus Mini DisplayPort at dual 1920×1080 on Windows 10 or later. It does not establish a dual 60Hz specification.
Explore this need in the finder →Will two monitor sockets give my Mac two independent desktops?
No. ALOGIC expressly limits Mac operation to one external monitor, so a two-screen Mac requirement excludes it.
Explore this need in the finder →Can I use its USB-C data port and charge through the dock together?
Not through that one shared socket. With a charger plugged in, the two USB-A data ports remain, but the USB-C socket is occupied.

The ALOGIC Ultra Portable Dock PLUS ULDPLS is designed around a familiar office problem: a USB-C laptop needs to meet older desk equipment. It provides HDMI and Mini DisplayPort, two USB-A data ports, a USB-C data and charging socket, Gigabit Ethernet, and SD and microSD readers. The exact specification sheet covers the space-gray ULDPLS-SGR and silver ULDPLS-SLV finishes.
The display connectors are the main reason to consider it, but their presence is not a universal dual-monitor promise. ALOGIC separates Windows and Mac operation. That distinction matters more than the number of sockets printed on the box.
Windows can use two screens; Mac uses one
The manufacturer documents a single HDMI monitor at up to 4K and 30Hz, or a single Mini DisplayPort monitor at the same ceiling. For Windows 10 and later, the table also supports HDMI and Mini DisplayPort together at 1920×1080. The two-screen table does not state a refresh rate, so it is not a verified dual 1080p 60 specification.
Mac operation is explicitly limited to a single external monitor. If your Mac workflow needs two independent external desktops, choose a dock and host configuration that specifically documents that result. Plugging two cables into this dock does not overcome the limitation. For a single Mac display, choose the output that matches your monitor and keep the stated 4K30 ceiling in mind.
The computer also needs USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode or a supported Thunderbolt 3 connection. A charging-only or data-only USB-C port cannot provide native video merely because the plug fits. The source lists Windows 10 and above, Chromebook and Mac OS, but it does not establish every current Apple-chip family or every Chromebook multi-display arrangement.
One USB-C socket has two competing uses
The ULDPLS has two USB-A data ports and one USB-C port described as supporting both Power Delivery and USB 3.1 Gen 1 data. That is one physical USB-C socket, rather than separate data and charging sockets. If you insert a laptop charger there, it is occupied and cannot simultaneously accept a USB-C storage device.
This makes the dock a sensible fit when your accessories are mainly USB-A. A mouse and an external drive can stay connected while the USB-C socket receives the charger. It is less suitable if you require a USB-C data accessory and laptop charging through the dock at the same time. Choose an adapter with separate charging input and downstream USB-C data ports for that combination.
All of these data connections are in the 5 Gbps speed class. That describes the advertised port capability, not independent guaranteed throughput for every device simultaneously. The Ethernet adapter and other peripherals also use the host connection.
Charging and networking complete the desk connection
ALOGIC advertises up to 100 W Power Delivery through the USB-C socket when a suitable external charger is connected. The package lists the dock and user manual, without a laptop charger. The headline therefore should not be read as included 100 W computer power, and we do not assign a verified net host-power budget from it.
The Ethernet socket supports 10/100/1000BASE-T networking. It can provide a wired connection where Wi-Fi is unsuitable, subject to the network equipment and computer configuration. The card section provides an SD slot and a microSD slot, but the reviewed specification does not establish simultaneous transfers between both. A two-card workflow needs that separate confirmation.
Choose it around the real monitor arrangement
The specified body measures 136.1×52×15 mm and weighs 138 g. It is a portable dock rather than a large mains-powered desktop station. Its mix of HDMI and Mini DisplayPort can be convenient at a desk whose displays use those connections, especially for a Windows laptop with the documented dual 1080p requirement.
Before choosing it, identify the computer's video-capable USB-C port, the number of independent screens, their actual connectors and whether the USB-C socket must receive a charger. Those answers expose the useful fit: several familiar peripherals on one connection, with explicit operating limits. They also identify when a different dock is required rather than leaving you to discover a missing display or occupied data port after setup.
