A useful fit for

A video-capable DP 1.4 or Thunderbolt 3 host needing one 4K 60 Hz HDMI image and two data accessories.

The main tradeoff

4K 60 Hz depends on host bandwidth; the 100 W PD wording does not establish net host output.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can a supported Windows DP 1.4 host require one 4K 60 Hz HDMI screen and two 5 Gbps USB-A ports without drivers?

Yes, subject to OREI’s native video bandwidth conditions.

Can a USB-C data-only port qualify for native HDMI?

No. The host must supply video.

A focused adapter for one HDMI screen

The OREI USB-C2HDMI combines one HDMI output, two USB-A data sockets and a USB-C PD connection. Its original specification is specific about the intended display arrangement: one screen at up to 4K 60 Hz with 4:4:4 color, subject to the computer connection providing the required video bandwidth.

This is a useful layout when a presentation or small desk kit needs a screen and two ordinary USB accessories. Count those connections against the complete task before choosing it. A single HDMI output does not provide two independent external desktops, and the USB-C power socket is a separate role.

The host must supply the stated video capability

OREI requires a video-capable USB-C source and identifies DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3 for the advertised 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 arrangement. The page specifically discusses enough bandwidth over two lanes. A USB-C socket used only for data cannot meet that native display requirement.

Check the exact computer port, not just the connector shape or a general laptop-family name. The maker gives MacBook, MacBook Pro, Lenovo Yoga and Chromebook Pixel as examples, but does not name individual Apple Silicon chips. No later-chip display support is added to this assessment from those older family references.

The screen and cable also belong in the plan. Select the appropriate HDMI input on the display and verify the timing needed by the actual task. The page lists several lower HDMI resolutions, but its highest advertised combination should still be treated as conditional rather than a result measured on every source computer.

Two data sockets for accessories

The two USB-A data connections are advertised at up to 5 Gbps. That can suit a keyboard, mouse, drive or other appropriate accessory pair, depending on the devices. Think about connector width and the cable route so that a large plug does not make the adjacent socket inconvenient to use.

The advertised rate is a USB interface ceiling rather than a file-transfer benchmark. Both accessories use the shared host connection, and the storage device, cable and workload still affect real transfers. A 4K screen plus two data sockets is a documented combination of roles, not a promise of independent maximum throughput for every activity.

OREI gives a USB peripheral supply capacity of 5 V, 0.9 A in the data-port description. It does not establish an unrestricted charging station for several demanding devices. Check the particular accessories' power needs before relying on the small adapter as their only source.

Bring a suitable power source

The original package list contains the hub and user manual, while the power-supply field says none is supplied. The PD connection is described up to 100 W, but a guaranteed net wattage delivered to the laptop is not specified. Plan the actual charger and charging cable as separate parts of the setup.

The manufacturer's five-watt power-consumption entry should not be subtracted from a headline figure to create an undocumented laptop charging promise. The host, source and cable still determine the arrangement that can be used. If a minimum charging output is essential, obtain an explicit model-specific answer before buying.

A small kit with a clear display boundary

The attached USB-C host cable makes the adapter a compact travel or desk accessory, and OREI describes operation without extra drivers or software. Its body is listed at 116.5 by 47 by 16 millimeters and eighty grams. Check that the intended placement leaves enough room for the HDMI and charging leads.

Choose USB-C2HDMI when one conditionally supported HDMI screen and two USB-A data devices meet the job. Resolve the host's native video bandwidth and any essential charging rate before committing to the kit. The exact original OREI page supplies these conditions; no hands-on display, transfer or charging measurements are claimed.
