Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does the listed iPad arrangement include both card formats and one HDMI output?
Yes. Confirm the exact iPad entry and native video support; HDMI is up to 4K 60 Hz.
Explore this need in the finder →Can I require two USB-A data accessories?
No. Only one such data connection is documented.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the pair of card slots confirm simultaneous reading?
No. Concurrent access is not established by the inspected guide.

The Satechi ST-MPHSDM Mobile Pro Hub SD combines an HDMI output, memory-card readers, one USB data connection, charging input and wired audio. It is most relevant to someone who moves media from a camera or card to a supported USB-C iPad and sometimes connects an external screen. The included USB-C extension cable is a practical part of that arrangement, especially when a tablet case makes a direct connection awkward.
Start with the exact tablet and the files you need to move. A hub can supply sockets without establishing every app's import and export behavior. Satechi's guide tells users where cards appear in Files and specifies iPadOS 13 or later for transferring to and from external storage. Check that your intended app can use the material after the operating system discovers it.
Use the extension where the physical setup needs it
The maker recommends the supplied extension for a more stable physical connection or when using a tablet with a case. Think through how the HDMI lead, charger and audio cable will pull on the hub. Letting the hub sit in a supported position can be more convenient than hanging all the attached leads directly from the tablet edge.
This is also a reason to verify the package rather than compare only a product photograph. The extension belongs to the documented setup. A used or incomplete offer should be checked for the actual included cable and the exact ST-MPHSDM identity before assuming it provides the same convenient connection.
Cards and USB have distinct limits
Both full-size SD and microSD slots are documented at UHS-I capability. Only the microSD card is described as clicking into place. The slot pair makes it possible to work with either format without treating an adapter sleeve as a supplied reader, but it does not establish simultaneous access to two inserted cards.
The hub also provides one USB 3.0 data socket. That is enough for one appropriate USB accessory; it is not a bank of several USB connections. The inspected guide does not state a separate numeric downstream line rate, so the finder does not manufacture one from the generation label.
For a camera-media workflow, count whether you need a card, a USB drive and another USB peripheral at the same time. Reading a card and connecting a single USB device is different from requiring two physical USB sockets. Transfers also share the host connection, so an interface label is not a measured copying speed.
One screen and a separate charging source
Satechi specifies one direct HDMI-to-HDMI connection up to 4K 60 Hz. Its guide requires a USB 3.1 Gen 2 or higher host, and the host also needs the native video function. A USB-C socket that only provides data does not establish the complete display arrangement.
The guide labels charging up to 60 W and recommends a power supply of at least 30 W to maintain charging speeds. This does not establish one net wattage delivered to every host. The PD socket is a charging input, not another downstream USB-C data or video connection, so keep it out of the data-port count.
Decide where imported files will live after transfer. Keeping an organized destination and checking that a few files open correctly is a useful workflow step regardless of which reader supplies the connection.
The exact compatibility list names particular iPads and other devices and leaves unlisted devices unconfirmed. Choose the Mobile Pro Hub SD when that exact fit, card workflow and single USB connection meet the job. If additional USB accessories, confirmed card concurrency or another computer generation is essential, choose a model whose own operating instructions establish that arrangement.
