60560Illustrated overview
A useful fit for

A supported MacBook needing three USB-A connections and documented two-card access.

The main tradeoff

The shared USB-C socket serves alternative charging, data or display roles. There is no separate HDMI output.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can a base-M2 MacBook use three USB-A devices and both cards?

Qualifies with the exact paired-plug physical fit. The maker names base M2 and explicitly allows SD and microSD together.

Can the one USB-C socket hold a drive and a charger at once?

Fails: those are alternative physical uses of the same socket.

Does 40Gbps Thunderbolt establish ordinary 20Gbps USB data?

Fails: that ordinary USB mode is not established for the downstream C socket.

MoreUSB-Aandcardaccess for the right MacBook

The UGREEN60560is a dual-plug hub intended for specificMacBookProandAir bodies. It supplies threeUSB-Adata ports,SDandmicroSDreadersandone full-functionUSB-Csocket. Unlike many similar-looking MacBook adapters, its exact port map does not include a separateHDMIoutput.

The maker namesMacBookPro2016–2022,MacBookAir2018–2022,andbaseM1/M2models. Check the actual computer's side-port spacing and physical fit before using that list. A two-plug accessory is more dependent on the chassis than an ordinary hub on a flexible cable.

Three familiar data sockets

The threeUSB-Aportsare advertised at5Gbps. They are useful for a keyboard, receiver, USBstorageor another familiar accessory. They share the path to the computer, so the number is not a promise of three independent full-speed transfers or our own copying benchmark.

UGREEN warns against connecting more than one hard drive at a time because of limited power and says a3.5-inch drive needs external power. That practical limit matters more than the ability to insert three plugs. Choose a powered arrangement if several demanding devices must run together.

TheUSB-Csocket has several possible jobs

The maker describes the downstreamUSB-Csocket as full-functionThunderbolt3,with a40Gbps transport headline,6K60videoand100WPDcharging capability. Those labels describe different roles of one physical socket. They should not be counted as three separate sockets available for unrelated cables.

If you connect the charger there, it is occupied by the charger rather than aUSB-Cdrive. If you need the socket for a data device, laptop charging through that same socket is not a separately available connection. The supported plans keep those physical alternatives separate instead of inventing another port.

The40GbpsThunderboltlabel also does not establish20GbpsordinaryUSB3.2Gen2x2operationfor a storage drive. That exactUSBmode is not stated. Select the hub for documented functions rather than treating every speed associated with the connector as interchangeable.

Two-card access is genuinely documented

UGREEN explicitly says theSDandmicroSDreaderscan operate simultaneously. That is a useful difference from hubs that merely show two card slots. The listed reader interface reaches104MB/s,but actual copying depends on the cards and host path; the number is not a measured transfer result.

This makes the60560a more relevant candidate when working with two card formats together is part of the routine. It still does not add networking or a separateHDMIconnection, so keep the rest of the workstation in view.

Choose it for its actual layout

The full-functionCvideoheadline does not supply a detailed host-chip-by-host-chip independent-display table. We therefore do not turn it into a multi-screen promise for everyMacBook. Likewise, the100WPDheadline does not separately settle net laptop power.

Choose the60560when its exactMacBookfit,threeUSB-Aportsand documented simultaneous card access address the real need. Choose another layout when a separateHDMIsocket or simultaneous charger and downstreamCdeviceare essential. Its usefulness comes from matching the physical arrangement, including the one shared full-function socket.

Screen arrangementThe maker describes 6K60 through the multifunction C connection, but does not establish an exact independent-screen arrangement and host-chip map.
Power and chargingThe same socket has a 100W PD headline; net host power is unknown. A socket occupied by a charger is not available for a data device.
Data and device limitsThree USB-A5Gbps ports. The multifunction C connection is advertised as 40Gbps Thunderbolt; an ordinary 20Gbps USB mode is not established.
